Zelirians – are former primates. Initially almost indistinguishable from the Hamadryas baboons of Earth, they evolved to a level similar to that of humans.
Biologically they are very similar to humans but do not perceive objects with a strong psionic field, so they do not see Humkey. Through their genetic ancestry, they maintained the genetic ability to perceive structured speech of other beings.
